The B140 features a robust 10-inch (250mm) coated fiber-composite cone woofer designed around a precision cast aluminum frame. At its core is a massive 3-inch (75mm) two-layer copper voice coil, delivering an impressive 1.25-inch (30mm) peak-to-peak excursion for exceptional low-frequency performance. To maintain linearity across this extreme excursion, the pole piece extends 0.25-inch (10mm) above the top plate, ensuring a stable magnetic field. This extension also serves a dual purpose by enhancing thermal dissipation, keeping the voice coil cool under demanding conditions.

High-Power Class D Amplification

The B140 is powered by a high-efficiency Class-D amplifier delivering an impressive 750 watts RMS and 1,500 watts peak, ensuring deep, powerful bass response down to 26 Hz.

Rear-Mounted Volume, Crossover, Phase, and Power Controls

The B140 offers a comprehensive set of rear-mounted controls for precise system integration: Variable Low-Pass Filter (50–150 Hz) – Allows perfect adjustment to match your main speakers. LFE Input – Bypasses the low-pass filter when connected to a receiver or processor with its own bass management. Phase Control – Variable adjustment for seamless blending with your system. Volume Control – Fine-tunes output for perfect balance. Auto On/Off – Automatically powers the subwoofer on when a signal is detected and off when idle, saving energy.

The B140 embodies luxury craftsmanship and decades of loudspeaker expertise, featuring magnetically attached grilles for a clean, seamless look with no visible fasteners. Hidden hardware and integrated trim rings add a refined touch, while a polished black accent complements the rigid, cross-braced cabinet. Solid aluminum feet with optional spikes and floor protectors ensure optimal positioning and isolation.
